On February 21, an episode of Operation Unplugged filmed at the Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site will air on the Travel and Escape Channel.
Operation Unplugged is a new documentary adventure series produced in collaboration with Parks Canada, GlassBox Media, HLP+Partners, and VIA Rail Canada. Eight lucky participants are invited to travel through Canada’s spectacular National Parks and National Historic Sites in a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
Motherwell Homestead Historic Site depicts the lifestyles, costumes, and architecture of the early 20th century. Costumed guides give visitors a glimpse of the life and career of pioneer farmer and politician W.R. Motherwell, offering a window into a significant time in the history of Western Canada.
