Saskatchewan’s building permits continue to break records, with April’s reaching a total of $254 million (seasonally unadjusted) – the highest in value for the month of April in Saskatchewan history.

The province’s residential building permits recorded a 52.5 per cent jump over the same time last year, outpacing the national average increase of 9.6 per cent.

Annually, the total amount of building permits was up by 29.7 per cent.
